This year, International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on 8 March every year, comes at a particularly difficult time for women —especially the ones living under Israeli bombing and siege in Gaza.
As we celebrate the political, economic and cultural achievements of Arab women throughout the region, we also highlight some of their most pressing challenges, particularly for those living in war zones.
