Bashar al-Assad has been consigned to history, with the Assad family facing the inevitable judgment of time. Though the regime has collapsed, Syria endures—a treasured gift for its people as 2024 comes to an end and 2025 begins.

Syria has turned the page on 54 years of its history. Following 14 years of steadfastness, the Syrian people are entering a new era. The dark days of Sednaya prison and the Captagon trade are now closed. With this turning point, Syrians can focus on tackling the pressing questions and the numerous formidable challenges left in the wake of the fallen regime.
